Q : Overbooking
A : On Air Tahiti flights, some customers make late cancellations of their reservations. Also, a number of customers make reservations, but do not show for the flight (“no-show passengers”). In order to take into account those circumstances and offer better availability on our flights, Air Tahiti sometimes overbooks its flights. Air Tahiti strives to honor all the booking made on its flights, but a slight risk of not boarding exists. In this case, if you are holding a ticket issued at a public fare, if you have a firm reservation for this flight, you complied with our Conditions of Carriage, and you have checked before the check-in time limit, Air Tahiti will give you a financial compensation of 10 000 XPF immediately. Please feel free to contact our staff for any additionnal details.
